SensesWA Telethon New Buds program for 2025

We are seeking expressions of interest for children and families to join our SensesWA Telethon New Buds program for 2025.

This program is available for children aged 0–9 years old who have a vision and/or hearing impairment, or are at risk, and who live in Western Australia. We welcome children who are not currently receiving or are ineligible for NDIS funding due to factors such as unconfirmed diagnosis or residency status.

The program offers early childhood intervention and allied health therapy services designed to support the development and goals of each child. Services may include Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Orthoptics, Orientation and Mobility, Social Work, Education, and more.

These services can be delivered in various settings, including the child’s home, early childhood settings, schools in the Perth Metro and Lower South West regions, or through Telehealth for regional areas. This initiative is funded thanks to the generosity of Telethon.

For more details, please contact Kate Brill, Deafblind Services Manager kate.brill@senses.org.au.
