Are you passionate about food and cooking? SensesWA offers many services to assist both children and adults to enjoy a range of foods and foster positive attitudes towards food.
Our programs encourage participants to explore and experiment with food, whilst increasing their education around food and nutrition. Participant’s comfort levels are improved by interacting with food in a lighthearted, non-stressful way.
“One of our services which is very popular is the SensesWA Cooking Group. The group is set in a fun environment, incorporating social and kitchen skills to increase participant’s exposure to new foods. The group is run by SensesWA Therapists and general group goals are aimed at broadening the range of foods in their diet, following recipes, problem solving, and kitchen skills like safety and hygiene.”
