Supported Independent Living (SIL) is a specialised NDIS program designed to provide people with disability the support they need to maintain a comfortable and safe living environment in an accessible home. At SensesWA, we are committed to helping you live as independently as possible, whether you need a little support or a lot.

Our friendly team works with you, your family, and your support network to ensure you find the right housing solution that fits your lifestyle and goals. Whether you’re looking for a home in a quiet residential area or something close to public transport, we’re here to help make the process simple and stress-free.

How We Can Help

Our Supported Independent Living services include:

  • Home Maintenance Support: We assist with essential tasks like cooking, cleaning, and general household maintenance to help you maintain a safe and comfortable home.
  • Personal Care Assistance: From help with bathing to dressing and other daily personal care needs, we are here to ensure you have the support you need to live independently.
  • Developing Life Skills: Our goal is to help you build independence. Whether it’s learning to prepare meals or managing your household finances, we work with you to develop the skills needed to live autonomously.
  • Finding the Right Home: We help you secure housing that meets your needs, whether that’s in a central location or in a quiet neighbourhood. We currently have vacancies in several homes that offer 24/7 SIL support, ensuring you’re always covered.
  • Tailored Support Plans: We design our services around your preferences, allowing you to choose how much or how little support you receive. You have full control over the level of assistance provided.
  • Accessibility Support: If mobility challenges are a concern, our team is equipped to assist with any accessibility needs within your home to ensure you can move around safely and comfortably.

Perth SIL Vacancies

We currently have vacancies in Swan View, Gosnells, and St James, offering 24/7 SIL support in homes that are conveniently located near shops and public transport. You’ll have the opportunity to share with like-minded housemates in welcoming, supportive environments.

Our team is available to assist seven days a week, offering flexible and comprehensive support for Western Australians living with disability. We’re here to help you live your best life, independently and comfortably.
